Dr. Larry Davis is the Chief AI Officer for BDC Strategy Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, all in Electrical Engineering. His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, software engineering, cloud configuration, and systems administration.
Dr. Davis has founded or co-founded six technology companies, three of which have received external investment. He has led or contributed in all areas of the technology development pipeline — from research to product deployment. He holds a patent in augmented reality that is licensed externally.
Dr. Davis lives in Atlanta, GA and holds leadership roles in professional and civic organizations. When not working or volunteering, you can find him playing video games, channeling his inner Maurice Ashley on Chess.com, or injuring himself in one of several athletic pursuits while attempting to recapture past glory.
