BDC Strategy Group is a boutique communications and public relations agency that provides strategic counsel in employee communications, content development, executive communications, public relations and issues management.

At BDC Strategy Group, our exceptional team is the cornerstone of our success. Our team consists of professionals hailing from diverse backgrounds and possessing a wide range of skills with more than 75 years of combined communications experience. Our team includes strategists, social media specialists, project managers, writers, copy editors and graphic designers, all of whom are deeply committed to achieving our clients’ business goals.

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach, as we seamlessly unite our talents to breathe life into communications strategies. We are also members of The Change Agencies, a national collaborative of multicultural and LGBTQ-owned public relations firms focused on providing inclusive public relations to multicultural and LGBTQ communities. 



Bernadette Adams Davis, APR, is a seasoned corporate communications consultant with over two decades of experience in public affairs, communications, and media. She founded her agency in 2014 to provide counsel to clients in industries including entertainment, technology, real estate and senior living. 

Prior to beginning her agency, she contributed to the Public Affairs division at Walt Disney World Resort, holding various roles in internal communications, executive communications, editorial, and media relations. Bernadette’s diverse background includes positions at Florida A&M University College of Law, Cox Enterprises, advertising agencies, and newspapers in Georgia and South Carolina.

Actively engaged in her community, Bernadette serves as a board member for Plano Youth Leadership, Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion for the Dallas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and advisory board member for the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs program at Southern Methodist University.



Sanj Marosi is a trusted public affairs professional who holds 25 years of experience leading site and bicoastal teams in communication strategy, issues management, corporate citizenship, executive communications, editorial, translation and advertising sales. She is known for her confidentiality, strategic planning and calm. 

Previously, Sanj held senior management roles at the Walt Disney World Resort with extensive experience in public affairs, feature animation and live entertainment. She has served in chief of staff-type roles for several senior executives. 

Sanj holds an associate’s degree in equine science from Johnson and Wales College, a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and a master’s degree in corporate communication and technology both from Rollins College. In the community, Sanj served on the board of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Trustees for Windermere Preparatory School.



Minutha is a dynamic global communications strategist with more than 10 years of experience specializing in fostering inclusive environments, enhancing brand integrity, and championing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Minutha has a track record of driving employee retention, executing change management strategies and implementing training and development programs. Before joining BDC Strategy Group as account director, she managed DEI initiatives at Eversheds Sutherland and IHG Hotels & Resorts, led strategic planning efforts at the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta and served on the Internal Communications team at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Minutha has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Georgia with a minor in Spanish. She serves her community through several nonprofits and is a proud member of the Summit Counseling Center board.



Jaylen Christie is an award-winning PR practitioner overseeing day-to-day execution of ongoing publicity initiatives that generate media coverage. He has worked with brands including Massey Services, Baker Barrios Architects, Sodexo, and The Salvation Army. 

Jaylen has been recognized by Black Enterprise as a B.E. Modern Man, an initiative honoring the essence, image, and accomplishments of today’s man of color. Additionally, he is a two-time international Hermes Creative Award winner, and is the recipient of a MarCom award, and the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 accolade. He was named Trailblazer Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America’s Sunshine District chapter in 2022. 

Jaylen has a master’s degree in communication from the University of Central Florida, where he is currently earning a PhD  in sociology; a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida A&M University; and he is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.



Alesa Gerald is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, specializing in public relations and business management. Alesa embarked on her public relations career following a series of successful communications internships. She serves as an account specialist at Bernadette Davis Communications, offering valuable support services to a diverse range of clients.

Alesa showcases commitment to community service and mentorship through her involvement as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Because of her dedication to professional growth and excellence, Alesa is currently a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, where she is on her way to earning a master’s degree in Strategic Communications and Digital Strategy.



One of 2.5% of former foster children to earn a bachelor’s degree, Sherelyn Weber is a 2020 graduate of the University of North Texas, earning a B.A. in journalism with a concentration in public relations. Sherelyn began her creative writing endeavors during early childhood in foster care. Excelling in her craft, she became a professional writer in the field of public relations. Sherelyn jump-started her career through various PR internships, including an internship at FleishmanHillard, one of the top PR agencies in the world. She specializes in media relations, blog writing, branding and more. She is also the founder of More Than Just PR, LLC, and has done brand ambassadorships for significant companies, including PINK, Hairfinity, 4U by Tia, She’s Happy Hair, Intelligent Change and more.
