Bernadette Adams Davis, APR is a corporate communications consultant whose career spans more than 20 years in public affairs, communications and media. She founded her agency in 2014 to provide counsel in the areas of executive and internal communications, media relations, issues management and crisis communications. Her team has worked with clients in the entertainment, technology, real estate and senior living industries.
Before relocating to Dallas-Fort Worth in 2014, she was a member of the Public Affairs division at Walt Disney World Resort and held roles in internal communications, executive communications, editorial and media relations. Her experience includes communications roles at the Florida A&M University College of Law, Cox Enterprises, an advertising agency and newspapers in Georgia and South Carolina.
She is a board member of Plano Youth Leadership and incoming (2021) Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion for the Dallas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She serves on the advisory board for the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs program at Southern Methodist University (SMU).
Bernadette holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Emory University and a master’s degree in English literature from the University of Central Florida. She has completed a certificate in social media and digital communication from SMU.
Sanj Marosi is a trusted public affairs professional who holds 25 years of experience leading site and bicoastal teams in communication strategy, issues management, corporate citizenship, executive communications, editorial, translation and advertising sales. She is known for her confidentiality, strategic planning and calm.
Previously, Sanj held senior management roles at the Walt Disney World Resort with extensive experience in public affairs, feature animation and live entertainment. She has served in chief of staff-type roles for several senior executives.
Sanj holds an associate’s degree in equine science from Johnson and Wales College, a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and a master’s degree in corporate communication and technology both from Rollins College. In the community, Sanj served on the board of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Trustees for Windermere Preparatory School.
Lauren Minter is an award-winning communications professional with more than 10 years of experience in operations, marketing strategy and brand management. Her past experience brings together an understanding of integrated communications and a passion for creating nimble teams. Lauren works directly with clients and agency partners on a range of projects with a focus on strategic alignment, operational effectiveness, and client service. During her career she has worked with clients in the financial services, entertainment, public relations, commercial real estate, and senior living industries. Lauren was recently honored by PRSA Dallas as one of its 40 Under 40: Leaders of Influence.
Jaylen Christie is an award-winning communications practitioner specializing in DEI strategies and overseeing day-to-day execution of ongoing publicity initiatives that generate media coverage. Recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient and Black Enterprise magazine with its BE Modern Man award, Jaylen's experience in communications includes work with brands such as Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Baker Barrios Architects, Massey Services, Sodexo, and The Salvation Army. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida A&M University, a masters degree in communication from the University of Central Florida and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Alesa Gerald is a 2020 graduate of University of North Texas, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism with a focus in public relations and a minor in business management. Alesa began her public relations career after serving several communications internships. She is currently an account specialist at Bernadette Davis Communications, providing support services to a variety of clients. She is passionate about community service and mentorship, and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Alesa plans to return to school to earn a master’s degree in strategic communication.
