When BDC Strategy Group reached its 10-year milestone, we saw more than a moment to celebrate — we saw an opportunity. This wasn’t just about throwing a party. It was a chance to show who we are, what we’ve built, and how we’ve helped our clients succeed. The campaign we created wasn’t just for celebration; it was an extension of our brand voice, values, and strategic approach to communications.
We approached this campaign the same way we would a client project, with intention and impact in mind.
Messaging First, Always
The foundation of any great campaign is strong messaging. For this one, set out to honor the agency’s journey while highlighting our expertise and evolution. Our messages centered around legacy, excellence, and partnership, making it clear that BDC’s strength comes not just from years in business, but from the relationships and reputation we’ve built along the way.
We developed three key message points that appeared consistently across social media, newsletters, and our virtual celebration. This helped us maintain a unified voice and reinforce what makes BDC stand out.
Building the Visuals
We knew visuals would carry the weight of the campaign on LinkedIn. Our in-house team created a cohesive look that felt both sleek and celebratory, while staying true to our brand. From a refreshed 10-year logo mark to custom Zoom backgrounds, every visual element was designed to feel intentional and polished.
We also leaned into multimedia, producing short videos, event graphics, and dynamic social media posts. This storytelling approach sparked meaningful interactions and contributed to a nearly 10% social media engagement rate, well above the industry average.
A Campaign with Layers
As a remote-first team with employees and clients across the country, we chose a virtual format that honored the moment while staying true to how we work. Over three months, we rolled out blogs, newsletters, a press release, and hosted a virtual celebration event. We also created two social media series, 10 Facts About BDC and 10 Lessons in 10 Years by Bernadette Davis, giving our audience a closer look at the people and culture behind the work.
Looking back, one thing we wish we’d done differently? We would have started even earlier. Anniversary campaigns take time to produce and gain traction. With a slightly longer runway, we could have layered in more earned media or extended the campaign past our celebration event to continue momentum.
Still, the results speak for themselves:
15 social media posts
634 page engagements
3 original videos
4 blogs and 4 newsletters
A strong turnout for our virtual celebration
